ET Parlays vs. the Other Prop Research Apps

By ET · Updated October 20, 2026
The voice behind ET Parlays. Grades the props and teaches the math the books don’t itemize.

ET Parlays is the Lab: a research tool for newer bettors. It explains every player prop in plain words, checks the slip you built leg by leg before you place it, and grades every read after the game, in public, misses included. You bet wherever you already bet.

We sell ET, and we only make money if you subscribe, so read this knowing that. Below is what each of these apps is built for, where one of them will suit you better than we do, and where ET is the better fit. Every fact about another app was read from its own site or app listing on October 20, 2026.

Pick another app if

Prop Radar. You want a ranked shortlist of props each day and don’t mind a checker that suggests swaps. Pro is $2 a week, the cheapest paid plan here.

Props.Cash. You mainly want hit rates: how often a player cleared a line over recent stretches of games, across a lot of sports.

Outlier. You want hit rates beside live odds in one app, with a way to jump to a partner book to place the bet.

OddsJam. You bet often and chase the best price across many books, or +EV and arbitrage. It’s built for a sharper, higher-volume bettor than ET is.

PropFinder. You want hit rates and matchup cheat sheets at $14.99 a month, with a real free plan.

StatMuse. You want to look up a stat fast, in plain English, for free. It isn’t a prop tool.

Pick ET Parlays if you’ve placed a handful of parlays, you want to know whether a bet makes sense before you place it, and you want the reasoning behind every number.

What you get with ET Parlays

Understand any prop, in plain words

Every player prop on the board gets a chance and the reasoning behind it: the matchup, the ballpark or the defense, recent form, and what the book is charging. Every stat carries its own explanation, so you don’t need to know what wOBA is to use it. The Lab covers MLB with 15 research surfaces, the NFL with 11 and the NBA with 11, plus Team Lab for game lines and ET’s chance on every MLB and NFL game beside the book’s. MLB · NFL · NBA

Check the slip you built

Paste a slip from any sportsbook. Each leg shows how often it lands and where that number comes from. Then the slip: what it pays, what it needs to land to break even, and how often the legs land together. When one leg sits clearly below the rest, it gets named. Free on the web with no account; on Plus and Pro, ET reads a screenshot of the slip for you, and Slip Check is an Android app for NFL slips.

EXAMPLE · WHAT SLIP CHECK SHOWS
Running back, over 70.5 rushing yards
6 in 10
Receiver, over 5.5 receptions
5 in 10
Tight end, anytime touchdownWeakest leg
3 in 10
Pays +900, so it needs to land about 10 times in 100 to break even. The three legs together land about 9 times in 100. The price is working against you, a little.

See what it pays at each book

The same parlay pays a different amount at every book. Slip Shop, part of ET Pro, prices your whole slip at FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars and Hard Rock for NFL player props and marks the best. On 20,000 four-leg NFL slips built from FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM prices in weeks 1 to 5, the best of those three paid a median 25% more profit than the worst. How Slip Shop works

Know afterward

Every read that makes the board is graded after the game, win or lose, and the record is public. Here’s the MLB board since September 10, 2026, when ET started lowering the numbers it shows to what its record supports:

1,278 MLB player prop reads graded between September 10, 2026 and September 27, 2026, each written down before first pitch, read from the database when this page loads. Misses included.

MarketReadsET saidLanded
Home runs32918%18%
Total bases34539%39%
One or more hits28563%61%
Hits plus runs plus RBIs31949%48%

“ET said” is the average chance ET showed on those reads. A market lines up when the two columns are close.

And the part that doesn’t flatter us: the widest gap was on home runs. Before September 10, 2026, when the model said 50 to 60%, those reads hit 26%. On September 10 we cut the home run numbers the board shows. Since then, 329 home run reads said 18% on average, and 18% landed. That’s two and a half weeks of games, so it’s a start, not proof.

What people say

Testers who get ET free are labeled. The words are theirs.

“I’ve tried a lot of parlay builder sites and apps, but I kept running into confusing formats and stats I didn’t understand. ET Parlays displays everything on one user-friendly platform, with learning tools that explain what each stat means in language that’s easy to understand. The Lab is my favorite feature, and it’s my go-to app now.”

Nathan · Came from other prop tools · user since May

“There hasn’t been a day I’m not using ET Lab for research. The real-time data helps me make well-informed decisions on my picks.”

Kal · Phoenix · daily user since April

“Honestly, I’m pretty new to sports betting and usually all the numbers and data confuse the hell out of me. But ET Parlays actually breaks down the player and game odds in a way that makes sense. It just gives you good info so you aren’t blindly throwing your money away.”

Who shouldn’t use ET

Questions

Is ET Parlays better than Props.Cash?

For a different job. Props.Cash is built around hit rates: how often a player cleared a line lately. ET puts a chance on the prop, explains every stat next to it in plain words, checks the slip you built, and publishes how its numbers have landed. If hit rates are all you want, or you bet the NHL or college, Props.Cash covers leagues ET doesn’t.

ET Parlays vs Outlier: what’s the difference?

Outlier puts hit rates beside live odds and offers a feed of trending picks. ET explains every prop in plain words, checks your own slip, and shows its record free. Both start at $19.99 a month. Outlier has an iPhone app; ET doesn’t yet.

ET Parlays vs OddsJam: which should I use?

OddsJam is for bettors chasing the best price on high volume, +EV and arbitrage, with plans from $6.60 a day on the web. ET is for bettors who want to understand a prop and check a slip before they bet. ET Pro also shows what your whole parlay pays at five books for NFL props.

Is there a free parlay checker?

Yes. Slip Check at etparlays.com/check is free with no account: paste up to six MLB or NFL player props and each leg shows how often it lands, then the slip as a whole. Five checks a day. Prop Radar’s Parlay Grader gives a free account a limited number of slips.

Which prop app shows how accurate it has been?

ET Parlays publishes its record free, market by market, with what it said beside how often it landed, misses included. Prop Radar’s results are part of its Pro plan. We found no graded record of their own numbers from Props.Cash, Outlier, OddsJam or PropFinder as of October 20, 2026.

Does ET Parlays take bets or sell picks?

No. ET is a research tool, not a sportsbook. It never takes a bet and holds no money, and it doesn’t sell picks. You bet wherever you already bet. No sportsbook pays ET today.
