Bet entertainment money, not real money

The only stake that belongs in a sportsbook is money you can lose without it changing anything about your week. Not rent, not groceries, not money you would have to explain. Decide that number before the slate starts and treat it as the price of the entertainment, the way you would a concert ticket.

No research tool changes that math, and this one does not either. ET Parlays exists to make your reasoning better. It cannot make a bet safe, and nothing here is a prediction that you will win.

Warning signs

Problem gambling is a recognized health condition, and it is treatable. If several of these sound like you — or like someone you know — it is worth a call to the helpline above.

Tools your sportsbook already gives you

Every licensed sportsbook is required to offer controls, and they sit in your account settings whether or not anyone points you to them. Using one is not an admission of anything — it is the same as setting a budget.

Deposit limits
Cap what you can put in per day, week, or month. Set it when you are calm, not mid-slate.
Wager and loss limits
Cap what you can stake or lose over a period, independent of what sits in the account.
Time limits and reality checks
Session timers and periodic reminders of how long you have been on.
Cool-off periods
Lock yourself out for a set stretch — usually a day up to several weeks.
Self-exclusion
A longer or permanent ban. Most books offer it in account settings, and many states run a formal self-exclusion list that covers every licensed operator at once.

Many states also run their own helpline and a self-exclusion list covering every licensed operator in that state. Your state regulator's site is the current source for both.

What ET Parlays is — and is not

ET Parlays is a research tool. It grades player props and checks a bet slip leg by leg, and it shows the reasoning behind every grade so you can argue with it. That is the whole product.

ET is not a sportsbook. It never takes a bet, never holds your money, and never sells picks. You wager at your own licensed book, subject to that book's rules and your state's law. ET does not generate parlays for you or tell you how much to stake — the judgment stays yours, on purpose.

You must be 21 or older to bet in most U.S. jurisdictions, and sports betting is legal only in some of them. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a winning bet, and past results never predict a future one.

This page is general information, not medical, legal, or financial advice. If gambling is hurting you or someone you love, the helplines above are staffed by people trained for exactly that call. See also our Terms of Service.
